Novellous was created by Alison (hi, that's me!). I've worked across Books and Publishing since 2012 (over a decade now, shocking), and I started Novellous in 2021 because being in the industry made it very clear how many good books weren't getting the attention they deserved.

Novellous is run out of Western Sydney by a person who reads over 500 books a year and is fuelled equally by my love of bookselling, the fantasy genre, and wanting to support the Australian publishing industry (times are tough out there, folks). 

Getting the Novellous subscription is esentially trusting your local bookseller to tell you what else is new that they've loved lately.

Sanity Specialist

Jack (Jack in the Box) is the most important member of the team at present. She's always available for pets when required.

Mask (Tuxedo Mask), Charlie, and Peaches. Sometimes available for pets, otherwise always available for group nap time.

Savage, Onyx, and Belle. Well, they try.

The Curator

Me again! I read all the upcoming books and find gems I think should get a little more time in the sun. I try to highlight Australian authors, POC authors, and LBGTQIA+ authors and content where I can.
