The first follows the godson of Death and a vampire real-estate agent who are drawn into a quest together, and need the help of an unruly poltergeist, a demonic personal trainer, a sharp-voiced angel, and a love-stricken reaper to figure it out. 

The second follows a stormsinger and pirate hunter who join forces against a deathless pirate lord in a swashbuckling Jacobean adventure on the high-seas.
